Flynn has recorded two solo CDs. His most recent, Mellow Yell is a blend of traditional bluegrass and new acoustic music sitting comfortably side by side. Dead String Rhythm showcases Flynn's take on Irish guitar. Both are now available for purchase through paypal.

Mellow Yell features Flynn's Bluegrass Singing and guitar playing on traditional songs and originals by Flynn Cohen, Mara O'Day, Mark Simos, and Kristin Andreassen. He is joined by a Aoife O'Donovan (harmony vocals), John McGann (mandolin), Nate Leath (fiddle), Jake Armerding (fiddle), Greg Liszt (banjo), Chris Pandolfi (banjo), Eric Merrill (viola), Rushad Eggleston (cello), Andy Hall (dobro), and Mark Schatz (bass).
